Lady Helen Child Health Foundation (LHCHF) support Vulnerable Children and their families through its strategic tripod initiative called RAP:
Research, Advocacy, Patient Treatment Assistance Programme (PTAP)
- Our Research focused on specific health needs of Children
- With Advocacy we look at government policies on the needs of vulnerable children and orphanages
- While Patient Treatment Assistance Programme (PTAP) focuses on treatment assistance for vulnerable children
Through the PTAP Funding Initiative, LHCHF will, with the consent of the child’s parents/guardians use all necessary information/materials of the ailing child to solicit for public funding using the Foundations various platforms and other global funding platforms approved by management.
This fund will be used solely for the child’s medical treatment. Where the fund raised for a particular case is in excess of the required amount, the excess will be channeled towards funding another child in need.
All amount donated are disbursed in strict compliance with our governance policy of transparency and openness to external scrutiny overarched by the Board’s overview.
