Support Children With Chronic Disease
PTAP was established by Lady Helen Child Health Foundation (LHCHF) to improve children’s health. It is an initiative founded and based on the prevalent need for medical aid for Vulnerable Children. PTAP assessment is facilitated by a committee of varying experts, Doctors, Teachers, Nurses, etc.
This website provides a platform for interested members of the public, families, care workers and welfare officers to apply for medical aid for vulnerable children.
MEDICAL SUPPORT OLA DARASIMI
Ola Daresimi Oyebola, is 6 years old diagnosed with Bilateral
Retinoblastoma of the eye (Cancer) at the Lagos University Teaching
Hospital Idi Araba Lagos. Hospital number 759117. Under Dr Akinseye
The parents, Mr Bolaji Ayebola and Mrs Adenike Ogunanwo, are not
financially fluid to meet the cost required for treating him and hence
they approached the Lady Helen Child Health Foundations PTAP for
assistance. Our action on their behalf is to solicit for funds to help him
get the required treatment. He is an only child and very dear to the
family.
Required treatment cost solicited is estimated at N900,000

THE LHCHF PTAP MEDICAL AID
The LHCHF PTAP medical aid contributes to the medical needs of vulnerable children as qualified below;
- Full or part payment for the hospital bill depending on the cost
- Contribution towards the cost of prescribed medication.
- Transportation to and from the nearest health centres
NOTE:
Grants available fall into various categories which will be applied during the deliberation of the award committee. Grants are open on quarterly basis and will be given subject to the decisions of the members of the PTAP Committee. Application from patients will be acknowledged within 24 hours.
