OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAMME: The Impact of Policy in Improving Collaboration and Quality in Service Delivery

The agenda includes discussion on delivering the key elements which commits to setting specific measurable goals to reduce health inequalities among Vulnerable Children, through informed best practices and in line with SDGs.

Delegates will consider the impact of Quality Assurance and best practices in preventive care in child health. This programme will in addition provide opportunities for Networking. This will include a master class interactive session.

The Lecture series will also highlight the recent publication by the United Nations International Children Emergency Fund on Child’s right policy, which sets out a framework for integrating basic knowledge of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) – including steps to improve quality at a local level, working collaboratively with other focal agencies and priorities for imbibing optimum care to deliver improved health outcomes.

Addressing Barriers in Accessing Proper Healthcare among Vulnerable Children

Attendees will also discuss the impact of entrenching best practices in Child Health Services, such as key issues for prevention-focused healthcare and the best steps for tackling health inequalities at local level among Vulnerable Children.
